What's been cooking - 4 July 2010
Our dinners this week have been somewhat random, thanks to Paul's birthday whims. I made a menu plan, but didn't stick to it very closely. This is what we ate.
Sunday: (Vegetarian)
Pumpkin soup, homemade pizza, salad.
Monday: (Lamb)
Lamb roast, roast vegetables, homemade mint sauce, gravy, pasta salad at a shared dinner for our Monday night group bible study.
Tuesday: (Lamb)
Lamb ribs (continuing the theme for Paul's birthday week)
Wednesday: (Vegetarian)
Basil and Parmesan tortellini with Alfredo sauce (all store bought and heavenly). I actually cooked a casserole this day, but whizzed it up to make pielets for lunches and to freeze into cubes for Lily's meals.
Thursday: (Vegetarian)
Pumpkin soup with toast.
Friday: (Lamb, pork)
Lamb and pork ribs, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and peas. (You're probably starting to notice - Paul loves ribs!)
Saturday: (Beef)
Paul's 30th birthday party! Mini hamburgers, beef kebabs, fruit platter.
