For this week's menu plan, I actually listed out the contents of my fridge, freezer and pantry so I would have an idea of what needed using up.
The entire menu is based around food we already have in the house, so I shouldn't have to do a big supermarket shop this week.
I'm trying to get into the habit of doing big fortnightly shops at our local Pak'N'Save, on the same night I pick up our raw milk. It saves petrol if I make the trips together, since both spots are near to each other. It also means I can go by myself, while Paul stays home to mind the girls.
It's so much easier grocery shopping without kiddliwinks!
This week I'm giving Paul a break from slow cooker meals, since that's what we've been living on for the last fortnight.
